Real Estate and Kurt Vile will be teaming up for a show at the Bishop this Thursday, July 15. Real Estate released a self-titled debut album last year that captures the sound of summer in New Jersey (the lo-fi sound is slightly cleaner than the real place). Their songs are meditative and introspective, but always entrancing. Kurt Vile favors a mix of folk and garage rock, with bits of psychedelia thrown in for good measure. Vile recently released an ep on Matador to tide fans over until the next full-length album.
