I wish that I knew about this event earlier. Hip Hop Caucus and Repower America have come together to bring you The Hip Hop Caucus Bus Tour, and Bloomington is one of six stops.

3:30 p.m. : Performance by DJ Biz Markie [Editor's note: Yes, of "Just a Friend" fame!! ]. Also at the Fountain Circle.
4:00 p.m. : Panel Discussion on Clean Energy and Global Warming. Fine Arts Building 015.

Repower America is part of the Alliance for Climate Protection (founded by Al Gore in '06, and he's still the chairman). Hip Hop Caucus' chairman Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr. co-created P.Diddy's notorious "Vote or Die" Campaign during the '04 elections, served as Political and Grassroots Director of mogul Rusell Simmons, and a lot of other really cool stuff.
