After one half of play, IU leads Wisconsin 40-28.

Freshman guard Larryn Brooks scored 12 points in the first half, including five of the Hoosiers' first seven, leading all scorers.

Junior center Michala Johnson led Wisconsin with 10 points.

IU led by as many as 15 points in the first half, shooting 44.4 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from 3-point range.

Wisconsin shot 43.5 percent from the field, including 37.5 percent from 3-point range.

The Hoosiers went scoreless for nearly four minutes, but responded with a 19-3 run starting at the 12:44 mark. IU outscored Wisconsin 12-8 the final six minutes and 28 seconds of the first half.
