The IU women's basketball team will travel to Cincinnati, Ohio on Dec. 29 for its final non-conference game of the season against Xavier, with tipoff scheduled for 2 p.m. The matchup also the final game in a three-game road trip for the Hoosiers.

IU's record coming into the game (12-0) marks the best start since the program's inaugural season in 1971-72. Xavier (5-6) has lost two straight games, most recently to Cincinnati in the Crosstown Classic.

In its last game, against Cleveland State Dec. 21, IU finished with 107 points, second-most in a single game. Xavier was held to 26 points in the Crosstown Classic, its lowest single-game total of the season.

The Musketeers have three players averaging double figures in scoring, led by senior guard Shatyra Hawkes (14.7 points per game). Hawkes also leads the teams in assists at 3.5 per game.

The Hoosiers are led by Larryn Brooks in scoring. Brooks is averaging 19.5 points per game this season.

After the conclusion of the non-conference season, the Hoosiers will open Big Ten play at home against Iowa at 7 p.m. on Jan. 2.
