Four members of the IU men's soccer team were named to the All-Big Ten second team Thursday night at the conference's annual awards banquet.

Senior midfielders A.J. Corrado, Jacob Bushue and Nikita Kotlov and freshman forward Tommy Thompson were selected for the second team.

Thompson also earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors despite missing the Hoosiers' final six regular-season contests - three of which were conference clashes - with an injury to his right knee.

Corrado (three goals, seven assists), Kotlov (five goals, three assists) and Thompson (five goals, two assists) lead IU in points scored, while Bushue (two goals, three assists) sits at sixth among all Hoosiers in that category. Kotlov and Thompson are tied with sophomore forward Femi Hollinger-Janzen for the team lead in goals with five apiece.

This is Kotlov and Bushue's second time on the All-Big Ten second team, and the first for Corrado and Thompson. In addition to this year's accolades, Kotlov and Corrado were named first team All-Big Ten in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
