Three former Hoosiers are playing at this weekends PGA TOUR event at the Seaside Course in Sea Island, Ga in a field of 132 professional golfers.

TOUR veterans Steve Wheatcroft (1998-2001) and Jeff Overton (2002-2005) are joined by TOUR rookie Chase Wright (2008-2012) at the McGladrey Classic.

This is Wright's TOUR debut while Wheatcroft is making his 77 showing and Overton has 189 events under his belt.

Wright sits in a tie for 26th place at 3-under-par and just five strokes behind the leaders, as he filed a bogey-free scorecard. Overton completed round one at 1-under-par while Wheatcroft struggled carding four bogeys to end the day at 4-over-par.

Wheatcroft (8:55) and Wright (9:15) tee off Friday morning from No. 10 while Overton (7:45) gets his round underway from No. 1.
