After jumping to No. 18 in the Associated Press poll and to No. 20 in the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll last week, IU jumped to No. 15 in both polls today.

The rise in the rankings came after a week in which IU took down No. 5 Michigan State 70-55 and completed the sweep of rival Purdue with an 85-74 win on Senior Night.

The win over Michigan State gave IU its first regular season with three wins over top five teams in school history while the Purdue win marked the first time the Hoosiers knocked off the Boilermakers in Assembly Hall in the Tom Crean era.

The Hoosiers capped off the regular season having won seven of their last eight and six of their last seven in Big Ten play. Last night's victory gave IU 24 wins, the most since 2007-08.

IU once again found itself behind Big Ten foes Ohio State, Michigan State, Michigan and Wisconsin in both polls. As they are in the polls, IU is the No. 5 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will take on No. 12 Penn State on Thursday afternoon.
