With the news that Northern Colorado's Tad Boyle will become the new head coach at Colorado, there has been even more speculation that Colorado associate head coach Steve McClain could wind up on the IU bench.

Now, a source has told The Denver Post that McClain is expected to leave Boulder for an assistant coaching job with the Hoosiers.

The Colorado assistant has been with the Buffaloes for three seasons, following a nine-year stint as head coach at Wyoming. He also was an assistant at Texas A&M for a year, while also spending four seasons at TCU.
