The IU Hoosier baseball team has partnered WHCC 105.1FM for live broadcasts during the 2009 season. Each Friday this spring, the network will give listeners "Hoosier Baseball Friday in Bloomington."
The program will provide live play-by-play coverage for five games this season--Georgia Southern, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Purdue. The broadcasters will be Jeremy Gray (the voice of IU women's basketball) and Matt Brady.
In addition to play-by-play, the show will provide live reports every three innings of games and have a morning segment with IU coach Tracy Smith.
"This is a meaningful partnership for IU Baseball," Smith said. "Getting the Hoosiers on the radio dial has been a goal of ours since we started here and the staff at Hoosier Country have always shown their support for the baseball program."
