Our Alaskan correspondent, and former IDSer, Dan click was able to do what very few regular readers of Inside Pitch were able to do -- see Jake Dunning play ball this summer.

Click made it to one of the Goldpanners' games on June 28.

Dunning singled in three at-bats with 2 RBI and a run scored. He also pitched an inning with 2 strikeouts.

He also made an error and, "it looked a like a pretty routine play if I remember correctly," Click said.

But Click added Dunning looks like a very solid player.

Obviously, this really is just a short glimpse into Jake's summer, but a pretty decent game overall.

Check out the IDS soon for a feature on the entire incoming class. And I'm sure after it runs there will be a notes dump.
