I am in a sterling mood after getting out of class early and seeing the warm (for a Midwest boy, atleast) sun shining, so I decided to do a little blogging.
While following the Hoosiers this year I encourage you to check out the Big Ten Web site. It has a great, up-to-date collection of stats for its ten baseball teams (no Badgers).
Here's a link for you. I encourage checking out the individual stats page and scrolling halfway down the page to category leaders. Here you will see just how well sophomores Josh Phegley, Evan Crawford and junior Andrew Means are doing in a list of hitting categories.
If you continue to scroll down you will get to pitching stats and you should check out how lefty Matt Bashore is doing. He is currently leading the league in strikeouts and my personal favorite stat; batters struck out looking, frozen, embarrassed, made cross-eyed, etc.
