Police looking for Bloomington man after assault

 

Bloomington Police are looking for a 24-year-old white male in connection with an assault and vandalism that occurred June 20 at the Knightridge Apartments.

When police arrived, a 26-year-old female victim told officers the man left the location on foot.

Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Dana Cole said the victim had a bruise on her left bicep, a black eye forming underneath her right eye and a bruise on her right ear.

Cole said when she attempted to get to her cell phone during the assault, she told officers the man smashed the phone.

She also told police that she had two children with the suspect, a 7-year-old girl and a 6-month-old girl. 

Cole said she told police both children were in the apartment when the assault occurred.

Police have not yet located the suspect.
