Andrew McMahon In The Wilderness, the artist behind the hit single "Cecilia and the Satellite" will perform at 8 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Bluebird Nightclub.
Before taking the name "Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness," McMahon was a band member of both Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin, according to the Bluebird's website. The artist's latest album is titled "Zombies On Broadway." "So Close" is one of his most recent singles, which is in the Top 30 at Alt radio, according to the Bluebird's website.
In McMahon's 16-year career, his biggest success came with the release of his single "Cecilia and the Satellite," which became a top-five single on both Alternative and AAA radio, according to the Bluebird's website. The song was also on MTV's "Real World," FOX's "Red Band Society" trailer and a television promotion for the film "PAN."
McMahon has performed on "Conan" and "Today," according to the Bluebird website. He has also toured across North America with bands Weezer and Panic! At The Disco.
