IU Coach Teri Moren will be a Hall-of-Famer again.

Moren will be inducted into the Seymour High School Hall of Fame in December as part of the inaugural class. She was a graduate of Seymour High School in 1987 and was one of 15 people selected for the class.

“I am truly honored and grateful to receive this honor from the people of Seymour High School, a place I have so many special memories,” Moren said in an IU athletics press release. “I would like to offer my congratulations to all the other inductees and continue to be a proud Owl alum.”

A committee following a public nomination period that began last August selected the class. According to the press release, to be selected an athlete or team must have completed high school at least 20 years ago.

While in high school, Moren helped lead her teams to four sectional titles, two regional championships, a semi-state victory, and a state finals appearance in 1987. She is also a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall-of-Fame where she was inducted in April of 2014.

The ceremony will take place in December.
