The election is conducted each year by the Dean of University Libraries on the Bloomington campus, in accordance with state law. the IU Alumni Association
assists with the election.

Any graduate is able to vote online. To obtain a paper ballot, a graduate must have voted by paper ballot in any of the past three elections or have requested a paper ballot.

Alumni voting online must authenticate themselves with their name, date of birth and one of the three following criteria: last four digits of your Social Security number, alumni ID or university ID.
