Other notable events for IU on the night included the 100-yard butterfly. Senior Gia Dalesandro won the conference title with a Big Ten-record time of 50.45. Dalesandro’s swim was also the fastest in the NCAA this season.

Junior Kennedy Goss was also a bright spot for the Hoosiers, finishing fourth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:44.30. Freshman Maria Paula Heitmann took sixth in the event.

In the diving well, junior Jessica Parrato finished fifth in the 3-meter springboard. The junior from Dover, New Hampshire scored over 57 points on each of her final six dives.
