IU earned its 18th commitment for the class of 2017. Mississippi three-star receiver Tyrese Fryfogle announced his commitment via Twitter.
“I would like to thank everyone who has came into my life and been nothing but positive supporters, especially my teammates,” Fryfogle said in a tweet. “With that being said I am now committed to INDIANA UNIVERSITY!”
With his tweet he posted an image of himself with new offensive coordinator Mike DeBord, new receivers coach Grant Heard and IU Coach Tom Allen. Fryfogle officially visited Bloomington on Jan. 13.
Fryfogle had an offer from Ole Miss and had a scheduled visit with the Rebels on Jan. 27.
The receiver also unofficially visited Mississippi State and South Carolina.
