2016 is coming to an end, and Instagram's end of the year data, which involves all of the more than 500 million Instagram users, reveals IU was the most Instagrammed location in Indiana this year.
IU ranks above Klipsch Music Center, Purdue University, Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Bankers Life Fieldhouse as the location with the most "geo-tags," according to USA Today.
Sydney Maxwell, a senior at IU and a former First Year Experience orientation leader, has spent the past four years in Bloomington and said the city has never lost its charm. She said the gardeners and staff who maintain the grounds do a wonderful job each year.
"Campus is just gorgeous in every season," Maxwell said. "There's just this southern Indiana charm that you can't find anywhere else."
