Four former IU soccer players scored Saturday for their professional soccer teams.

The biggest goal of the night came from Femi Hollinger-Janzen who notched his first career MLS goal for the New England Revolution in a win against the Chicago Fire. Hollinger-Janzen played four seasons for the Hoosiers and won the 2012 College Cup.

Hollinger-Janzen was a third-round selection by the Revolution and was the 51st pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. He is one of two third-round picks to play this year, and he had his first career point on an assist last Sunday against the Los Angeles Galaxy. He has played in eight games this season and has started one game.

His Revolution teammate, Lee Nguyen, also scored a goal against the Fire on Saturday. Nguyen played one season at IU and won Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2005. Playing for international clubs until 2012, he joined the Revolution and has found success since. In 2014, he was third in the MLS MVP voting after he scored 18 goals that season.

Toronto FC defender Drew Moor also scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 loss to the Vancouver Whitecaps. Moor played two seasons at IU and was on the IU teams that won the 2003 and 2004 College Cups. Moor has played in the MLS since 2005 and was an AT&T MLS All-Star in 2015.

The other Hoosier to score Saturday was Tommy Thompson who scored two goals for the Sacramento Republic FC. Thompson played one season at IU and is in his third season in the MLS. Thompson has been playing for both the San Jose Earthquakes and their USL affiliate in Sacramento.
