Two women and one man were arrested early Thursday morning at 225 E. 20th St. for dealing heroin.
Kaitlin Essick, 28, and Stephoni Henderson, 44, had been under investigation for dealing since May when officers executed controlled buys of the drug from them, Bloomington Police Department Capt. Joe Qualters said.
“This was a joint venture between BPD investigators as well as the Lawrence County drug force,” Qualters said. “A search was issued just shortly after midnight and then executed at the location.”
The police had also found out that William Tanniehill, 53, was on his way to the residence from Chicago with more drugs.
He was intercepted upon arrival and found to be in possession of 61 grams of heroin, an amount with an estimated street value of $12,000 Qualters said.
