At halftime, Purdue leads No. 22 IU, 38-27.
The Boilermakers have been able to get seemingly whatever they want in the paint, with the combination of 7-footers A.J. Hammons and Isaac Haas leading the way. Hammons, a junior, led all scorers with nine points in the first half.
IU had difficulty getting anything going offensively, shooting just 32 percent in the half. The Hoosiers average nine made 3-pointers a game on the season – through 20 minutes, they've made just one.
Junior guard Yogi Ferrell led IU with six points in the half. Sophomore forward Troy Williams scored four points and pulled in a game-high five rebounds.
