Home invasion, armed robbery reported Monday night

Around 11:30 p.m. Monday, four African-American males reportedly wearing ski masks and armed with handguns forced their way into a residence on North Lincoln Street, struck a male resident in the head with a handgun and stole a laptop, according to Sgt. Joe Crider.

The victim went to IU Health Hospital with injuries to his face and head.

The Bloomington Police Department obtained consent from the residents to enter the residence and found small amounts of marijuana.

Sgt. Crider said the investigation is still active.
