Robel to deliver State of the Campus address today

The State of the Campus address will be 3 p.m. today.

Executive Vice President and Provost Lauren Robel will give the address in Presidents Hall of Franklin Hall, according to a press release Thursday.

During the address, Robel will speak on the Strategic Plan, which finished its public comment phase Wednesday.

The Strategic Plan outlines IU’s goals in the years leading up to the campus’s bicentennial.

The State of the Campus is given every year as per the campus’s Faculty Constitution.
Last year, Provost Robel announced her intention to recommend the merger of the School of Journalism and the Departments of Telecommunications and Communications and Culture to the Board of Trustees.

Faculty, students and public may attend the address in person, livestream it at broadcast.iu.edu or watch it live on the campus cable television, according to the release.
