Man arrested after grabbing officer’s hand

A 43-year-old man was arrested after grabbing the hand of a police officer Saturday night.

Bloomington Police Department officers responded at about 11:40 p.m. to Atlas Bar, 209 S. College Ave.

The bartender had called police because a man was running in the street, BPD Lt. John Kovach said.

Officers made contact with the man, identified as Stephen Host, who grabbed an officer’s hand.

Host was arrested for resisting law enforcement.
