An unidentified woman was found dead along Hillside Drive Tuesday afternoon. Police do not believe foul play was involved.
Bloomington Police Department officers responded to the report of a possibly deceased person near Hillside Drive and High Street at about 1:30 p.m., BPD Capt. Joe Qualters said. He said a passer-by made the call.
Qualters said the preliminary indication is the woman's death was medically-related or the result of natural causes.
Qualters said a mailbox was knocked down at the scene.
The Monroe County Coroner and BPD are working to identify the woman.
