Robbery victim tied up by thieves

The Bloomington Police Department responded to a robbery Monday morning at 211 S. Kimble Dr., BPD Sgt. Joe Crider said.

The victim, a 62-year-old male, said three males knocked at his door at about 5 a.m. When the victim answered the door, the males forced their way in.

The males forced the victim to his living room floor and bound him.

The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone. No weapons were displayed.

The suspects were described as in their early 20s. The case is currently under investigation.
