Former trooper found not guilty of murder

CammVerdict

After 13 years and two overturned guilty verdicts, a jury has acquitted David Camm of charges he murdered his wife and two children in their Georgetown, Ind., home in September 2000.

After two months of testimony and his third trial, the jury deliberated for about 10 hours before reaching their not guilty verdict this morning. Family got word a verdict had been reached at about 10:30 a.m. but they didn't know what it said until 12:30 p.m.

Charles Boney, whose DNA and hand print were found at the murder scene, is serving a 225-year sentence for the murders.
