Unknown man tries to solicit sex from teenager

Police were alerted Monday afternoon than an unknown man tried to solicit sex from a 15-year old boy, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Joe Crider said.

Approximately two weeks ago, when the boy was staying his mother's apartment residence, an unknown man approached him in a common area and asked for sex.

The man was described as being black, balding, about 5-foot-9-inches and approximately 150 pounds.

The 15-year-old later told his father, who told the mother, who in turn notified police Monday.
