A rape was reported July 7 to the IU Police Department, Lt. William C. Munroe said.
The incident occurred July 3 and is an ongoing investigation.
The incident occurred at Willkie Quad where there are currently several camps and workshops taking place.
The reported victim, an adult female, and the person of interest, a male, allegedly knew each other, Munroe said.
Munroe said the person of interest is of no danger to others on campus as this was not a stranger-rape incident.
