Graduate student reports off-campus rape

An IU female graduate student reported being sexually assaulted between midnight and 1:54 a.m. Saturday.

A man she met while out at a bar was driving her, and she was allegedly sexually assaulted later in the vicinity of Headley Rd., IU Police Chief Keith Cash said.
The woman reported the alleged rape at 2:35 a.m. while at IU Health Bloomington Hospital, Cash said.

Cash said the case is still under investigation. This is the second alleged rape reported to IUPD this academic year.
