IU Police Department Chief Keith Cash said the female met the suspect in the Memorial Stadium area Saturday.
The two returned to a dorm room at Wright Quad, where they began to engage in sexual activity.
In a police interview, Cash said the female student indicated she told the male ‘no,’ but sexual activity continued.
The female reported the rape to IUPD Sunday afternoon. Cash said the case is still under investigation and IUPD will interview the victim again.
