Commencement times change for three schools

Due to higher enrollment rates and the growing popularity of IU Commencement Ceremonies, students of the School of Informatics and Computing, School of Journalism and School of Optometry  will attend the morning spring 2013 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony instead of the afternoon.

This is a permanent change in response to the size of crowds in Assembly Hall during these ceremonies.

President Michael McRobbie, Provost Lauren Robel and Deans Robert Schnabel, Michael Evans and Joseph Bonanno were involved in the implementation of this change.

The afternoon session will now solely be fore the College of Arts and Sciences.
