The award recognizes select college football players for their commitment to community service. Replogle is one of 117 nominees.
For his part, Replogle has organized a team-wide visit to Riley’s Children’s Hospital and is an active participant in Boys and Girls Club volunteer opportunities.
A selection panel will choose two 11-player Good Works Teams from the nominee pool in late September. One team will be comprised of players from the Football Bowl Subdivision; the other players from the FCS, Divisions II and III and the NAIA.
Past members of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team include Super Bowl champion quarterbacks Eli Manning and Peyton Manning, ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer and 2011 Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III.
