The Hoosiers defeat of Kentucky was the last win over a No. 1 ranked team since a 59-58 win over No. 1 Michigan State in 2001.

Watford’s three-pointer at the buzzer gave him a game-high 20 points to lead the undefeated Hoosiers. The buzzer-beater came off a free-throw made by Kentucky with 5.6 seconds to go.

Jones dribbled down the length of the floor to find Watford, where he fired up the game-winner as time expired. The win for IU comes after getting votes in the Associated Press Poll for the first time in the Crean era.

Indiana is 9-0.
