Called “Laps for Lauren,” the event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, at Woodlawn Field on campus.
“We would love to see everyone who is helping us continue our efforts to find our dear sweet Lauren,” Lauren’s family said in a message posted on the Find Lauren website. “Hope to see you Saturday.”

Since then, thousands of volunteer searchers have joined police in looking for the 20-year-old student.
The volunteers originally met at Lauren’s apartment complex, Smallwood Plaza, three times a day before scouring the city and county. Eventually, the searches decreased to twice a day, and the search headquarters was moved to McNutt Residence Hall.
On June 29 the headquarters were closed.
