Student seating sold out for Ohio State game

Despite increasing student seating from 8,100 to 11,000, nearly a third of the normal seating, all seats for the student body for IU's Saturday matchup against No. 9 Ohio State have been sold out as of Thursday morning, according to an IU Athletics press release.

IU Athletics Director Fred Glass said he was excited about the sellout, although he was disappointed the department would not be able to provide the normal discount to any other students looking to go to the Ohio State game.

Two thousand reserved seats remain for the game, and they are being sold for $50. The department expects these seats to sell out prior to game time.

Basketball season tickets also on sale

In addition, students can purchase basketball season tickets, also expected to be in higher demand than last year, before Saturday’s game against Ohio State from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Assembly Hall Ticket Office.
Tickets will also be sold after the game in the Northeast ticket office.
Basketball student season tickets are $220 and may be charged to a student’s bursar account.
