Mack, Reeves suspended for season opener

According to the IU athletics department, IU football coach Bill Lynch has suspended defensive lineman Deonte Mack and linebacker Ian Reeves for their season opener against Eastern Kentucky for violation of team rules.

Neither player was listed on the depth chart for his respected position when it was released to the media Friday.

Mack, a junior, played in 11 games for the Hoosiers last year, charting two sacks and 21 tackles. Reeves, a sophomore, played in 10 games last year as a reserve linebacker and on special teams.
